So what can you expect, you ask? Well, you can expect to meet many new people — students, faculty, and staff. You’ll develop new routines and experience new challenges — all within the comforts of the UPEI campus!

Get your year off to a great start by coming into our First-Year Advisement Centre (FYAC). You can meet with an Academic Advisor, who will discuss your course selection and timetable with you and answer any questions you have pertaining to your upcoming studies and first-year experience. By using the FYAC, you will be able to register for your first- and second-semester courses prior to the upper-year students. You can also see a full list of first year courses and their current status by clicking our new first year timetable

The New Student Orientation Program (NSO) is an AWESOME time to meet new people and to learn everything you need to know about the campus — where your classes are, how to set up your e-mail account, how to use the Bookstore and the Library, as well as learn about the various supports and services available on campus throughout the academic year. You’ll learn all of this while having great fun with the many energy-packed activities and celebrations throughout your first week of university.

Where can you get help with any and all of this? Check out our Services for Students brochure. Or call or visit Student Services: (902) 566-0488, The Loft, 2nd floor, W. A. Murphy Centre.
